The framed Durga face is a beautiful composition in material, form and texture. Shaped by the potter's hand in raw, river bed clay, its serene, pared-back form carries the essence of purity and stillness. There is no excess, only the gentle contours of the face, the warmth of the earthy material and the quiet strength of the Divine.
The handwoven Sheetalpati fibre backdrop brings another layer of tactility. Its intricate weave, subtle variations and natural imperfections celebrate the character of the handmade, while the natural wood frame adds warmth and grounding.
These elemental materials, clay, fibre and wood, come together to form a piece that feels born out of tradition, yet at home in a contemporary space.

Care:
1. Handle with care. The wall hanging is not designed to be used as a standing showpiece and will not stand on its edge on a surface. It has to be hung on the wall. The clay form is delicate. Hold the piece by the wooden frame when moving or repositioning it, rather than by the mask or woven panel.
2. Keep dry: Protect from rain, moisture and areas of high humidity. Avoid placing it on or near damp walls.
3. Clean gently: Dust the clay and woven surface with a soft, dry brush or microfiber cloth. Do not use water, sprays or chemical cleaners.
4. Avoid direct sunlight: Prolonged exposure may cause natural materials and pigments to fade or change colour.
5. Keep away from heat: Avoid placing it near fireplaces, radiators, heaters or other direct heat sources.
